If you like my work as E64 newsposter or/and you wish support PSemu.pl, this msg if for you. Since my 3yo Moto Defy can't handle PlayStation emulators for android (FPse, ePSXe and PPSSPP), and ATM I can't effort to spend 500+ USD for modern phone with great specs, I decide to win one in HTC photo contest.
You can help me with that, in less than a minute, and three simple steps (1) visit contest page with MY PHOTO (2) search for green "Głosuj" button at bottom-right side of screen (3) Click it, and wait till it changes to "Głos oddany". That's all. Only 1500+ clicks to go :] In conclusion, I would like to apologize for the off-top (hope for your understanding), my linguistic (that will never change) and photo skills (if you want to add additional vote for something nicer, browse my other pics, no. 275 to 284 are mine, just change url in browser)... and most importantly, thank you for help.

DeSmuME 0.9.9
Posted by winter_mute @ 10:03 PM CET | Comments: 0 | Nintendo DS
|
DeSmuME is a Nintendo DS emulator running homebrew demos and commercial games. The original author of DeSmuME is YopYop156. He has stopped working on it on the beginning of april 2006 and passed the torch to a new team of developers.
Here is release note for latest version:
| Yes, it’s been a while since the last release, but we haven’t been completely idle. There’s a brand new jit cpu core which yields some impressive speedups, and a ton of work on the OSX port!
Head on over to the download page and check it out!
Also, please don’t post bug reports or support requests in the comments. It’s a terrible venue for that, and there are other places specifically designed for it, such as, say, the support forum
Turn on JIT (dynamic recompiler) for HUGE speedup (in menu Config->Emulation Settings)

Supermodel WIP
Posted by winter_mute @ 09:54 PM CET | Comments: 0 | Arcade
|
Supermodel emulates Sega's Model 3 arcade platform, allowing you to play a number of ground-breaking arcade classics (like: Daytona USA 2 Power Edition, Fighting Vipers 2, Scud Race Plus, Star Wars Trilogy - screen below) on your PC. It uses OpenGL and the SDL library, and can run on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.
Latest progres info:
| [...] last year hasn't been entirely without progress. While I was busy with other matters, Nik quietly figured out most of the network board and added a rudimentary GUI. Daytona USA 2 and Scud Race both work quite well linked up in multiplayer play. The latter suffers from a peculiar bug that causes opponent cars to pitch rather than turn, which looks comical but otherwise has no discernable effect on gameplay. There are still other bugs and performance issues to work out but this is an incredible achievement.
There are no plans for an imminent release of Version 0.3a and Nik's changes have yet to be incorporated into the public SVN repository. Network play is rather difficult to set up. The GUI is sometimes unstable and unresponsive because Supermodel was not originally designed with one in mind. I think releasing it in its current unpolished state would simply lead to more frustration than enjoyment, so I would rather wait a few more months until Nik and I have time to deliver a polished, official release of Version 0.3a. Neither of us has tested multiplayer performance playing against remote opponents yet.
Please bear with us but in the meantime, I hope this reassures our fervent emulationistas that Supermodel hasn't retired yet and is still capable of turning heads on the runway!

Project64 is an emulator designed to emulate a Nintendo64 video game system on a Microsoft Windows based PC. It creates an environment on your PC which real N64 software can run and be played in much the same way as it would be on the original hardware system.
It has a fantastic compatibility and is one of "if not the best" N64 emulators out there. The gameplay is a pure pleasure and is entertaining for all N64 based fans, but your computer had better meet or excel the Minimum System Specifications.

Ootake 2.69
Posted by winter_mute @ 10:55 AM CET | Comments: 0 | Turbografx 16
|
Ootake [pronounced oh - ta - ke] is great PC Engine/TurboGrafx16 emulator, with high compatibility, nice GUI and a lot of settings.
| - It corresponded to operation with "Windows 8". In "Windows 8", classic display method of desktop (Windows7's Areo invalidity) was abolished. As a result, it has the display delay of about two frames compared with XP and Win7(classic display). Therefore, the difficulty of the shooting game especially becomes hard. The operated happiness decreases, too. If you want to enjoy playing games, the current state strongly recommends the personal computer of "Windows 7" to be selected. I want to transmit the importance at this display time lag to the staff of Microsoft. However, it is not easy to transmit it. I do not give it up because it is very precious for games.
- Additionally, a detailed part has been improved and corrected.
+ The execution file for "Windows 98/Me" was opened to the public. The operation test is not done. Please see "Readme98.txt" in the ZIP file about details and notes, etc.
