Gent: Hi Aprentice, First of all thanks to agreeing to this Chilling With Gent Session i know you are extremely busy so many thanks. I'm aware that it may seem a bit strange as we chat alot so we may be going over old ground but i want to ask you some questions on behalf of The Emulation64 Network Browsers/Users who are interested in you and what you are doing ok?
Aprentice: ok cool 
Gent: cool  What have you been up to since the release of UltraHLE 2064, and could you tell us what the status of UltraHLE 2064 is? and how is life treating you?
Aprentice: I have been really busy with work and school but in my free time I code on my various freelance projects, some of which may not be released for a very long time. I hate the second question because I do not really know how to answer it correctly, UltraHLE 2064 has had some changes since the last release, but nothing deemed release worthy. We are currently taking a long break from the project, but I can tell you that its not dead. I don't want to give people any wrong ideas, so thats all I'll say for now .
Gent: ok sounds promising on the UltraHLE 2064 front and very intriguing on the other projects aspect keep us posted you are also known for your excellent work on your excellent DE (Dark Engine dll) for Mirc (IRC),now alot of people don't realise that it is spyware and all their Bases are belong to you nah just kidding its a fine piece of work! what got you involved in wanting to do that project and are you astounded at just how many people use and love it?
Aprentice: This question is more like it  I remember people were posting computer specs in a channel that I was in so I asked what script are they using. At this time moo.dll was the only system info script out but it was very buggy and limited in functionality. I saw plenty of room for improvement, so I decided what a great way to master winapi than to work on a project that heavily relies on it. Also, I had the support of the #emulation64 channel as I progressed (they kept telling me it sucked). I'd just like to throw in that DarkEngine is a 3+ year work in progress, system info isn't as easy to obtain as people might think
Gent: I love and use it all the time and thanks alot for such a superb and great fun way to interact over IRC. ok now another thing most people don't know or are aware of is you have a great sense of humour so i want to dig into that part of your Personality
Aprentice: Hmm, considering most people think my sense of humor is sick I do like to joke around a lot, sometimes a little too much. Don't know what else to say really

Aprentice: Best gadget I ever bought was a computer, it beats em all

Gent: well I'm glad you are and do you like coding ?
Aprentice: yes i do. I consider coding as building a house, you build it piece by piece. When something breaks, you have to fix it. I like architecture, but without the physical labor, coding is a great match
Gent: roflmao at without the physical labour great answer Now i know you are busy and i have asked many Authors this and its not looking good so I'll try my luck with you, any chance of you making me a Binatone TV Master MK 6 simulator ? lol
Aprentice: since i've never heard of the Binatone TV Master MK 6 simulator, probably not

Aprentice: Gameboy, if that doenst count then NES

Gent: If you went on a different path and never got the coding bug, what would you see yourself doing instead for pleasure or a Occupation
Aprentice: What got me into coding was the emulation scene. Wanting to code my own emulator gave me the motivation to learn to code. If i never started coding, I don't know what i'd even be doing today, it's beyond my scope
Gent: deep but we are all glad you did! What would you like to see yourself doing in ten years ?
Aprentice: Do you mean in the scene?
Gent: in Life in General
Aprentice: In general i see myself working in a good paying job, being well respected, driving great cars, supporting a family, living the normal life you earthlings live
Gent: roflmao, sounds nice, i hope you get a good space-ship parking space If you was a normal user and tried UltraHLE 2064 and Dark Engine for the 1st time what would strike you the most about it ?
Aprentice: How it sucks so bad. JUST KIDDING! if i was a normal user of UltraHLE or DarkEngine, i'd probably be facinated by the speed of ultrahle 2064 and impressed by the functionality of darkengine all my projects approach a task from a different perspective
Gent: Great answer and yea agreed on both superb the both they are [/Yoda] What Book has in grossed you from the start to finish and what was it ?
Aprentice: I haven't actually touched a book in ages, last book I read that I found useful was about 4 or 5 years ago, Learn to Program C in 24 hours book actually took a few months
Gent: lmao, Hence the Name of course What was the 1st Feature film you saw as a kid and how did it effect you ?
Aprentice: First feature film i saw as a kid was probably some disney movie... probably explains why 99% of the movies I watch now are horror flicks
Gent: Who is/was your Favourite Comedian and why ?
Aprentice: I actually don't find most of the comedians funny, but I guess Chris Rock is "alright" to some degree
Gent: ya i like some of his stuff like Dogma great film that, Who is a person you most admire and why ?
Aprentice: i admire you for wasting your time with me j/k

Gent: If i gave you all the info on a Binatone TV Master MK 6 how would the chances look for that simulator ?
Aprentice: Actually, with all the info I probably would be able to do it, but I would need motivation and time, and I mean lots of time, cause I currently have my hands full with all my projects. Oh and on the side note, the public will be seeing an irc client coming from me in the future It will have more to offer than mirc
Gent: Ok scratch the sim for now that'll do nicely
Aprentice: and in the very far future, an nes emulator
