Gent: Hi Martin, First of all thanks to agreeing to this Chilling With Gent Session i know you are an extremely busy Guy so many thanks. I want to ask you some questions on behalf of The Emulation64 Network Browsers/Users who are interested in you and what you doing ok?
Martin: Sure
Gent: ok cool What have you been up to? and how is life treating you?
Martin: I'm always busy these days, with my own business (we sell video game accessories) and college and, of course, taking care of the network of sites. Life's good though
Gent: Yea funny you should mention that that ties in nicely with the next question. great linking you You are Famously known for your excellent Emulation64 Network Empire, Some even call you the Donald Trump of Emulation. Ok i call you the Donald Trump of Emulation What was the spark hat started this almighty Empire and how did you go about it?
Martin: rofl the thing is, I don't think I'm very famous, only Emutalk people know who I am anyway. Emulation64 was started back in 1999 around the time UltraHLE was released, and it became popular instantly, and quickly enough we started offering free hosting for official emulators and other emulation sites
Gent: and The Emulation64 Network thank you from the bottom of our Heart!!!!!
Martin: hehe It's a treat hosting you
Gent: Also you made a fantastic scene for alot of Emulation Developers. They have official Sites on on Emulation64 and Forums on Emutalk. Did you ever forsee it being as huge as it is ?
Martin: no, not at all like we discussed earlier today, the amount of traffic EmuTalk gets today is amazing, we have more than 20,000 unique visitors per day
Gent: if no one has said it, i would like to, congrats on what you have achieved.
Martin: thanks, but I can't take credit for that
Gent: and whats remarkable is the members are forever increasing. Thats got to make you feel proud
Martin: but of course I'm proud of what has been achieved, though it's not thanks to me but thanks to all the emulators. I will never regret starting the site and what it and its network has become, even though it means you can never really take a break, you always need to stick around and monitor and make sure everything runs smoothly. And of course, there's always people who need this and that I remember we had some troubles around christmas, I had to take the train home from my parents on christmas eve to resolve some issues my parents weren't thrilled I only stayed one day on christmas.
Gent: See this is of course the down side of owning an Emulation Emipre buti think we can safety say and group effort and fantastic hosting and of course friends made along the way and i hope i never embarrass you but i have a hell of alot of sites on your network for individual emulator cheats and of course The Emulation64 Network. and im forever bigging you up as the great man you are so if you feel embarrassed im sorry but also say tough you desrve it. Ok moving on before we both go red Another thing most people may not know is you have a great sense of humour so i want to dig into that part of your Personalty soo ..... there is a urban terminology for a word Gented referring to me of course Gented When was the last time you Gented and what was it?
Martin: it was this saturday actually on "Valborgsmässoafton" where Swedes go to the park partying we played some football and I was trying to stop the ball in front of this real pretty girl and of course I fell right in front of her my elbow still hurts I dashed away with the tail between my legs
Gent: lmao i bet and suprb genting btw Now these next Questions i stole from the Actors Studio and love it, so i am going to
ask you them too.
Martin: I've learned from the best
Gent: roflmao * Gent curtseies there i go again When you get to the gates of heaven what would you like to hear Arc Angel
Gabriel say to you?
Martin: ouch, tough one as long as he doesn't beg for roms I'm fine
Gent: hahaha great answer What is your Favourite Word ?
Martin: Love
Gent: What is your Least Favourite Word ?
Martin: Anxiety
Gent: ooo deep i like it. What is your Favourite Yahoo or any Smillie ?

Gent: lol cause ya always happy i get it
Martin: I suppose
Gent: mine are and of course
Martin: we even have a smilie at emutalk for the last one there
Gent: yea that we doing lol What question would you of wanted me to ask that i haven't ?
Martin: Well, I was expecting a "What will happen in the future?" question
Gent: ahh ok. so Martin
Martin: and the answer is: Nothing
Gent: meh lol thought i was gonna inherit a Empire What was your 1st Video Game Console or PC if relevant
Martin: I remember us having a vic 20
Gent: Wow
Martin: know what that is?
Gent: yup i do a commodore
Martin: Yeah, well it was my brothers
Gent: ill even add a link of the vic 20 for the readers to see. You know me and links
Martin: that's the one
Gent: What was the 1st game you played

Gent: lmao
Martin: or was that non-fictional?
Gent: hey anyone you want i dig that answer myself. makes me feel better about wanting to be luke skywalker What was the best prank you ever played on anyone?
Martin: hehe that's another difficult question, let me ponder for a while
Gent: Ok
Martin: well, last summer me and some mates dialed a random phone number and pretended to be salesmen selling knives you could cut through shoes with "Order now and we throw in a free pizza" "Order now and you get a case of beer for free every month" natually we weren't completely sober
Gent: haha or sold alot
Martin: or that
Gent: lmao Do you belive in love at 1st sight and i mean with other people not yourself
Martin: Yeah I do, for me at least
Gent: you romantic! If you went on a different path and never got the Emulation Empire bug, what would you see yourself doing instead for pleasure or a Occupation
Martin: probably still into sports, I gave that up a few years ago don't have time for it all
Gent: well you still have that sporting streak just look at what you do for the smooth running of ya Empire. What would you like to see yourself doing in ten years ?
Martin: I'll probably still be in college No just kidding. I'll probably still run my own business, though it should be much larger by then, hopefully I don't even have to work myself then The Empire expands!
Gent: lmao da da da dada da dada da yea im aware im obsessed with starwars
Martin: hehe
Gent: If you was a normal user and visited Emulation64,com, Emutalk, net or any other site on your vast Network (like The Emulation64 Network We Love ya ) for the 1st time, what would strike you the most about it ?
Martin: "Who made this terrible site design?" j/k If I wasn't into emulation I would probably be stunned about how many discussions there would be on the topic of emulation. The user base is larger than you'd know. i spoke to zilmar a little while ago before the pj64 1.6 release and he told me during 2004 the emulator had 800000 downloads from the main site alone, and then the emu hadn't even been updated for 2 years
Gent: and of course the vast amount of developers that are housed there. you designed ET ? and yup very true, also pj64cheats was constantly still being downloaded
Martin: it's not that much of a design, but yeah I changed some vbulletin templates i'm not very good with designs
Gent: lol two peas in apod brother well apart from me not having an empire and admiring fans of course
Martin: i think you're my only fan
Gent: nah sarah likes you too What Book has in grossed you from the start to finish and what was it ?
Martin: that would easily be "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" by Jules Verne, I read that book the first time when I was about 12 years old, I couldn't stop reading. Sci-fi has had a special place in my heart every since
Gent: My dad had a huge library with all those classics. Im constantly helping those charmed girls out of trouble. SCi-Fan Nut am I What was the 1st Feature film you saw as a kid and how did it effect you ?
Martin: I really can't remember.
Gent: ok what was the latest film you saw and how did it effect you and keep it clean
Martin: haha latest film I saw was "I heart huckabees" and it confused me
Gent: hrm cant say ive seen that and i doubt i need to be any more confused as i already am Who is/was your Favourite Comedian and why?
Martin: Jerry Seinfeld and the show Seinfeld especially. I guess it's because you can identify yourself with the situations in the series
Gent: ah yes i loved crammer ? in that
Martin: I have all the DVD boxes released so far (up to season 3) and Kramer but close enough
Gent: thats the one Who is a person you most admire and why ? and dont make me blush j00
Martin: I would have to say you
